It took two weeks after a whole year apart, but our toddler has finally warmed up to having his dad back home. From the moment Max returned, he had our son smiling and laughing...it was just when he tried to hold him or especially when he tried to change his diaper (poor Max!)....Ollie wanted nothing to do with his dad.
So, we took it one day at a time, and now, not only does Ollie run to Max; he asks for him if he's not nearby and yesterday, he only wanted Max to change his diaper (lucky Max!).
Of course, we figured there would be some adjustment. I'm just glad it's smoothed itself out. Also, I'm wondering how long this daddy only changing diaper thing will last... :)
